Analyze electrical system data, arc flash surveys, and thermography reports.
Survey existing electrical systems and design system improvements.
Prototype development and support of ongoing design initiatives along with guideline development and scope of work documentation.
Ensures project design and construction quality is consistent with design specifications by visiting sites, observing project construction activity.
Responding to system implementation problems; negotiating with retail energy operations and systems groups to translate project obligations.
Requesting necessary design changes during the construction phase to meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Meets established project construction timelines by maintaining master schedules; ensuring contractors are provided accurate and timely.
Information; verifying material procurement and delivery schedules; removing barriers and obstacles that impact contractor performance.
Controlling expenses; requesting modified completion target dates; and providing regular project status reports.
Monitors projects by assessing project performance in real-time via web-based sub-meter portals; proposing remedies for projects that are underperforming.
Assisting project managers by conducting store visits; and providing technical feedback on projects.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and company standards by conducting inspections of renewable power & energy efficiency project construction sites; maintaining certifications.
Issuing renewable power & energy efficiency project construction change directives; testing materials; and suspending work.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business.
Plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards.
Measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting Continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties.
Building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application.
Ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, soliciting, evaluating.
Applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
You'll make an impact by Engineering, design, and construction of electrical system upgrades to prepare for upcoming projects.
Upgrading electrical systems to current standards.
Electrical Prototype support and development.
Electrical scope of work and guideline development.
What you'll bring 5
years of engineering and construction experience in the energy, mobility, or building infrastructure sectors.
Experience analyzing infrastructure projects through data analytics and on-site inspections.
Experience with site inspection, project acceptance tests, and commissioning procedures, and typical equipment utilized for such activities.
Construction review and analysis of onsite electrical construction projects.
Working knowledge of Generators, Switchgear, EV, solar, storage, and/or mobility infrastructure-related regulations, codes, and standards.
Project management skills and experience.
You'll sweep us off our feet if you Understanding of Engineering processes.
Engineering degree.
Construction management.
Electrical construction experience.
SKM, 70E, 70B, OSHA training, Electrical Master's license, Journeyman's license.
