Position SummaryWhat you'll doAbout the Team/PositionTechnology and Corporate Functions Early Career programs support the development, build, and delivery of the first experience our associates have as they transition from campus to corporate.
As a program manager you have the opportunity to introduce these associates to the culture and values of Walmart, providing an impactful and purposeful experience and building the skills, development, experiences and networks that will shape Walmart's future leaders.
You'll sweep us off our feet if You're familiar with balancing many activities simultaneously and have the agility to re-prioritize tasks as required You have a background in campus recruiting, early careers, program management, L&D You're not comfortable with the status quo but instead are constantly looking to improve outcomes You have great listening skills, critical thinking skills, and solution-articulation skills You are comfortable with change and have change management experience You'll make an impact byManaging the delivery of end-to-end Early Career programs, overseeing job placements, orientation, training and development, associate support, learning experiences, leadership sessions and more; identify and partner with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to coordinate and deliver a world class associate experience; continuously measuring program success by leveraging associate feedback and identifying opportunities to improve Early Career experiences.
Implementing program plans, changes, and solutions by communicating and coordinating with key Early Career stakeholders to manage expectations and build trust; prioritizing critical issues for root-cause analysis; ensuring resolution of critical issues; monitoring execution and milestones of the programs; tracking and reviewing high-level deliverables; and preparing and presenting performance reports to leadership.
Evaluating program; identifying and analyzing key performance indicators and trend data; conducting return-on-investment analyses; reviewing customer response and feedback from Early Career associates and stakeholders; collaborating with teams across the company to leverage processes to increase service and product capabilities; and recommending adjustments and process improvement ideas to leadership to meet deliverables.
Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key Early Career stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet associate and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and supporting company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
