As a member of the Communications team supporting Walmart U.

Operations Communications, you'll lead 360 comms work for the Stores and Supply Chain org, working closely with leaders to develop and deliver communications that reach diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities include enabling Store and Supply Chain Operations to achieve their business objectives by counseling leaders, ensuring flawless communications, sourcing and sharing compelling stories, and inspiring associates within the division by highlighting key achievements delivered for the enterprise.
You'll make an impact by:
Developing and leading 360 degree communication strategies (including executive, external media, internal and digital) for Store and Supply Chain designed to enhance the company's reputation as a technology innovator.
Partnering with leadership and stakeholders across the organization to source stories and content that reinforce the strategic role the organization plays in powering the digital transformation of the Fortune 1 enterprise.
Providing strategic counsel to leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent communication, both internally and externally.
Serving as a high-level company spokesperson to ensure statements and key messages of sensitivity and impact are provided to the media by improving and protecting the corporate or division reputation.
Leading and developing a team of communication professionals.
You'll sweep us off our feet if:
Provide relevant, empathic and timely communications.
You have experience with national, trade and local reporters and the skills to protect the company's reputation and/or shape a story through reporter engagement and external announcements.
You've secured strong media coverage and have pre-existing relationships with technology or business media contacts.
You have proven ability to influence key stakeholders and senior leadership with a commanding and engaging executive presence.
You are a strong leader of people.
You're a storyteller, creative thinker and a visionary.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field and 6 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area OR 8 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
