Senior Manager II, Global Internal Controls ABOUT THE TEAM This role is specifically on the Governance and Oversight Team within Global Internal Controls.
We are responsible for maintaining consistency, improving processes, and assisting leadership in the strategic outlook of our SOX program.
ABOUT THE POSITION This position helps define the vision, standards, and policies for internal controls, including the standardization of the governance process through use of emerging technologies and tools.
This position requires effective collaboration with internal and external auditors, as well as business partners in determining the scope of our internal controls program.
Additionally, you'll make an impact if you demonstrate an ability to learn new business processes quickly and apply accounting and audit practices to recommend controls to mitigate material risks.
You'll sweep us off our feet if you Have a strong background in SOX auditing and reporting Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial statement risk, both qualitative and quantitative, and how to apply it across various segments and markets Understand financial statement assertions and can perform line-item analysis Know how to research, interpret, and apply accounting and audit standards Demonstrate a digital acumen and ability to learn new systems, tools, etc.
Are experienced in working and collaborating in a matrixed and multi-national organization Are a lifetime learner and self-starter who thrives in defining problems and developing solutions Can make complex subjects easily understood through compelling stories and visuals Have high standards and can hold peers and business partners accountable Are stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale You'll make an impact by:
