What you'll do:
Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of meeting event and technology specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
Event Technology Solutions:
Stay abreast of the latest meeting technologies and trends, and evaluate their suitability for enhancing event experiences.
Implement and manage state-of-the-art technology solutions to optimize meeting efficiency and engagement.
Network Stack Management:
Oversee the planning, setup, and maintenance of network infrastructure required for seamless connectivity during corporate functions.
Ensure high-speed and reliable network services are available to support various event activities.
Business Center Capabilities:
Manage and coordinate business center operations, including administrative services, printing, scanning, and other essential support functions for meeting attendees.
Point of Sale Systems:
Collaborate with relevant teams to deploy and manage point of sale systems for on-site transactions during events.
Ensure a smooth payment process for merchandise, services, and concessions.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to optimize cost-effectiveness and service quality.
Event Support:
Provide hands-on support during critical corporate functions, addressing any technical issues and ensuring flawless execution of technology solutions.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure all meeting event technology solutions adhere to company policies and security standards.
Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and protect the integrity of our network.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Proven leadership experience in managing teams, preferably in the events, technology, or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of meeting technologies, audiovisual systems, and network infrastructure.
Familiarity with business center operations and point of sale systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
