Position SummaryWhat you'll doStaff Data AnalystAbout the Role Walmart's Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is looking for a Staff Data Analyst to serve within the IROCC (Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance Center), the analytics center of excellence for Global Governance.
This position will primarily support Walmart's Asset Protection (AP) supply chain team with fraud and theft mitigation strategies, analytics for joint investigations, and regulatory compliance reporting.
Key
Responsibilities:
Leverage programing languages and tools used to manipulate, analyze, visualize, and draw insights from big data sets (e.
g.
SQL, Python, R, MS PowerBI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Dataiku, BigQuery, Looker, ESRI ArcGIS, etc.
) Develop dynamic dashboards and reports in response to the needs and priorities of designated AP Supply Chain stakeholder(s) Collaborate with investigators to provide analytics support for cases of joint interest to Asset Protection and Global Investigations (GI) Develop subject matter expertise and provide analytics support for AP specific data sources (e.
g.
Auror) Support analytics use cases that impact AP operations in the areas of fraud (e.
g.
FedEx shipments), regulatory compliance (e.
g.
OSHA reporting), or physical security Team with other members in the IROCC to drive insights and innovation across functional workstreams You'll sweep us off our feet if You have strong organizational skills and are known as someone who gets things done You are adept at telling stories using data and can produce clear, impactful visualizations You are process driven and understand how to achieve results at scale You operate with customer first mindset and have strong communication skills You have a background supporting law enforcement, security teams, investigations, supply chain, law firms, or corporate compliance teams with analytics, data governance, or eDiscovery workflows Bonus points if you have Experience transforming innovative ideas into practical analytics solutions Certifications in supply chain, security, crime or data analysis, fraud examination, information security, geographic information systems, machine learning, or data governance disciplines The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.

5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
