Director, Data Analytics (Custodial eDiscovery)

Position SummaryWhat you'll do Are you ready to lead a team that executes eDiscovery case work for the world's largest retailer? The Director of eDiscovery, Custodial Data role is a part of the Global Governance Strategy, Risk & Operations team supporting Litigation and Global Investigations.
This role manages a team of eDiscovery subject matter experts.
This position will be heavily focused on people management and developing proactive strategies and processes to improve our internal workflows and implementations of technology.
What you'll do:
Lead a global team of eDiscovery professionals and their case management activities, including recommending review approaches on a massive portfolio of complex cases with high volume data sets and contributing to the collection and production strategy of emerging data sources Serve as a subject matter expert in eDiscovery industry tools and analytics platforms, including RelativityOne Continually develop and integrate best practices, advanced analytics, and quality control standards into our end-to-end eDiscovery workflows, with a focus on controlling spend Effectively implement industry technologies such as technology assisted review (TAR) techniques and AI applications, as well as understanding and applying ESI protocols Leverage data and analytics to proactively identify trends, spot risks, and manage performance of the internal team and our external service providers Collaborate directly with eDiscovery, Litigation, and Global Investigations Counsel and other leaders to proactively address risk and engage on the defensibility and strategic direction of the eDiscovery program Drive customer service and strong partnerships with key groups in the organization including our Forensic Services Lab, Global Investigations, and Litigation Oversee our in-house training program to educate team members and key stakeholders on new technologies, emerging ESI sources, and industry best practices What you'll bring:
You can identify information governance best practices that improve eDiscovery workflows You have a proven track record leading team(s) and developing a high-performance culture You are skilled at using technology, data, analytics, and other tools to inform case decisions and programmatic strategies You are comfortable building relationships, leveraging internal partnerships, and working collaboratively on a cross-functional teams You are able to develop strategies, goals and plans to lead a team and define KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) You have successfully led teams through transformative change You hold Relativity-specific certifications.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 2:
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 3:
7 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
2 years' supervisory experience.
