Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in our wireless network environment; to include design, implementation, L3/L4 support functions Provide clarification and guidance on emerging technology and how we may leverage them to improve Walmart's overall network health and our customer / associate experience Provide advice on overall strategy; determine possible roadblocks and provide alternatives Provide guidance and accountability to vendor partners responsible for delivering results in our environment Work with internal and external customers to understand the root of an issue and drive solutions Provide insight and explanations to leadership and business partners, providing level appropriate communication and breaking down complex solutions into business outcomes
Experience:

years in wireless networking General networking knowledge to include network services such as DNS, DHCP, etc CWNA certification Automation / scripting experience (Preferred) You'll sweep us off our feet if:
You have experience with Mist, Juniper, Meraki, Cisco, Extreme and/or Aruba wireless environments You have knowledge or experience of non 802.
11 wireless technology such as CBRS, LoRa, ZigBee, etc You have enterprise experience in a large a distributed footprint You have a passion for learning and a desire to leverage the latest technology to solve interesting business problems at scale You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to break complex engineering problems down and state in real business terms You can adapt quickly to changing environments Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in large-scale networking environments or related area.
